these are photos, where i hung the images from my book and tried to capture the shadows and depth, i think they worked well but i dont really like them because i dont think they look very child freindly.

| i looked at the artist Rob Ryan. i particularly enjoyed his humorous messages and intricate cutwork, unfortunately i have misplaced the final (the dog ate it!) but this is what i did but on tracing paper. |

| my brief was to research, plan and create a children's book. Firstly i looked at the book arrrggghh spider to understand the process of creating a children's book. i also looked at the illustrator, quentin Blake, who gave me inspirations to the process i should use to create my characters. i experimented with shapes for my characters until the came to life. |
