AoB1 develop ideas and look at stuff!!

these are photos, where i hung the images from my book and tried to capture the shadows and depth, i think they worked well but i dont really like them because i dont think they look very child freindly.

this is my content anlysis of the book arrrggghh  spider and this helped  me when writing what should be included within my childrens book
i looked at the artist Rob Ryan. i particularly enjoyed his humorous messages and intricate cutwork, unfortunately i have misplaced the final (the dog ate it!) but this is what i did but on tracing paper.

these are my drawing where i have kept experimenting untill i came up with my final pig and owl designs.

i have taken my pig disign and tried colouring it in on photoshop, i like the tecniques but i odnt think it quite suited my character.
my brief was to research, plan and create a children's book.  Firstly i looked at the book arrrggghh spider to understand the process of creating a children's book. i also looked at the illustrator, quentin Blake, who gave me inspirations to the process i should use to create my characters. i experimented with shapes for my characters until the came to life.
